Air Cargo-Handler Ramp Operations

The Air Cargo-Handler Ramp Operation performs manual duties related to the handling, receiving, loading, and delivery of all cargo in our warehouses.

$ 20.50 starting pay + ( $.50 shift premium)

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):


  • Performs various aspects of ramp service functions including transferring and loading of cargo, baggage handling, servicing of airplane cabin interiors and other service functions. Also performs ramp maintenance.
  • Loads and unloads cargo on and off aircraft.
  • Safely operates motorized vehicle (i.e. Tug) to pick-up and deliver cargo between the warehouse and aircraft..
  • Performs ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power and ground start units, water service and draining lavatories.
  • Performs aircraft pushout/tow and related guide man functions.
  • Cleans the exterior of aircraft and performs routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities.
  • Remains cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and reports security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.
