Job Summary
The work of the Agent Security is to monitor the ingress, movement, and egress of persons requiring access to Company facilities, including the controlled airport areas, and including, but not limited to, employees, truckers, sales, people, etc. May be required to maintain a log of cargo entering and leaving the facility, and subject to compliance with TSA regulations; to comply with set guidelines outlining the escort and/or identification of personally owned vehicles within the secured areas; to visually monitor activity within the controlled areas and follow set guidelines pertaining to the challenge of an unauthorized individual within the controlled areas; to be aware of and able to act upon emergency situations pertaining to a breach of security as set by TSA/airport regulations. May be assigned to perform screening of cargo in accordance with TSA regulations, and maintain Sensitive Security Information (SSI) per established procedures. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program. Comply with WFS site security plan for assigned warehouse.

Responsibilities
- Ability to be professional, courteous, cautious and efficient with all persons gaining access to controlled areas in an environment that is at times stressful.
- Cognitive skills to comply with established guidelines on security.
- Cognitive skills to be decisive and use independent judgment
- Must be willing to wear uniform and insignia as prescribed by the Company.
- Personal appearance and grooming that will present a favorable corporate image.
- Ability to speak and be understood in giving directions and/or information to employees/customers/vendors.

Minimum Requirements
- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must undergo initial and recurrent training
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
Preferred Skills
- Public contact experience preferred
- Strong oral communication skills
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays and days off.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk for an eight-hour shift.
- Ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift, twist and turn.
- Must be able to see clearly in low light conditions.
- Ability to remain in confined work station for prolonged periods of time.
