Job Description:  Join our team at Worldwide Flight Services as a Passenger Service Agent – working at O’Hare International Airport!!!   

Position starting pay:   $18.00 per hour, parking pass provided, uniform provided

You must be available to work weekends and holidays. Mandarin/Cantanese/Taiwanese (Hokkien) language preferred but not required.  The Passenger Service Agent – performs all aspects of airport and passenger service functions for international carriers.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):                                                    

  • Performs various aspects of passenger service functions including boarding gates and customs arrivals for international carriers.
  • Checking baggage and collection of excess baggage charges
  • Providing passengers with general travel information
  • Meets aircraft at gate of loading area
  • Checks passengers for correct travel documents and ticket validity
  • Performs lost and found activities including progress of search and returns
  • Process claims for damaged or lost baggage
  • Assist passengers thru U.S. Customs and Immigration hall
  • Prepares and maintains required airline records 

Required Skills: Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Understands that the work schedule is based on flight departure and arrival times
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hour shifts
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing to wear a uniform as prescribed by the Company
  • Personal appearance and grooming that will present a favorable corporate image
  • Reports to work on a regular and timely basis
  • Computer familiarity necessary

Required Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to receive an authorized airport badge and pass a drug and background check
  • Must be able to prove U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Legal Residence
