This position is Hybrid and eligible only to individuals located in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Atlanta, GA metropolitan areas.

 

Working exclusively representing the IAG Cargo Group in North America to support the delivery of the GSA forecast for the North American Region. In conjunction with the sales team, take ownership of client accounts and develop/maintain a close business relationship, driving sales and commercial activities. It is fundamental to the role that everyone is self-motivated and can work effectively in an energetic work environment. Salesforce is a key support tool for the Business Development Associate and is the responsibility of the role to ensure that sales call discussions are up to date and any business leads are recorded.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Support the commercial team in achieving the regional revenue targets.
  • Dealing directly with clients, to identify any business opportunities
  • Following up on quotes that have been given by another team member.
  • Direct engagement with clients on a reactive and proactive basis.
  • Support the customer call strategy and deliver the territory plan activity.
  • Work with the commercial management team to support the commercial team delivering sales initiatives, regular customer contact.
  • Ensure an effective close working relationship with key customers keeping them informed on new routes, promotions etc.
  • Ensure that telephone sales are maximized through management of individual portfolio
  • Make best use of industry data i.e. WACD to maximize revenues
  • Increase distribution efficiency via promotion and expansion of the “On Line” booking platform
  • Embrace the CRM application Salesforce and record all customer engagement.
