JOB SUMMARY | RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Ramp Supervisor is responsible to multiple aspects of the Air Cargo Operations
- Load and unload cargo freight on and off aircraft
- Transporting of cargo between terminals and aircraft and ramp transfers of cargo where required
- Receive, deliver, and physical handling of freight and company material
- Export at the designated express docks
- Complete forms and messages related to and necessary for the performance of the designated locations of the functions described
- Pushout/tow aircraft and related guide man functions
- May be assigned to perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities with or without powered equipment
- May be assigned to assist in monitoring security of facility
- Coordinates with all departments to ensure operational needs are met
- Acts as company representative when assigned
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal
- Ability to compute rate, percent, and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
MINIMUM QUALIFICTIONS: (Required)
- Associate's Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; OR 6 months-1 year relevant experience/training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, communicate, and understand the English language
- Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off

- Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment
- Ability to handle stress
- Work with minimal supervision
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS | WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted
- Work in a high noise level environment
- Able to work in an outdoor environemtn and withstand natural weather elements
