Job Summary

Candidate will play a crucial role in supporting Project Portfolio Governance and Project Management structures. Activities include but are not limited to project portfolio reporting and cost tracking, governance forum facilitation, team site configuration and administration, and ad-hoc project workstream support, and facilitation of a variety of project management events / sessions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our projects and make a significant impact on our organization. Responsibilities

  • Governance forum support: Coordinate strategic forum audience, agenda, cadence, and deliverables while ensuring content creators adhere to PMO specified content, messaging standards, and leader feedback. On occasion, moderate the forum.
  • Portfolio management: Coordinate cost and go-live management efforts across all projects in portfolio.
  • Project Standards: Enhance and maintain project management standards; onboard new PMO team members and customers of the PMO in effective utilization of these standards.
  • Team collaboration site: Facilitate design, configuration and administration of team SharePoint site, Creation of libraries, navigation pages, lists and permissions. Administer site.
  • Project Coordination: Lead planning, execution, and progress monitoring of ad-hoc project workstreams. This role requires close collaboration with the project / program PM.
  • PM service facilitation: Lead or assist ad-hoc session preparation, facilitation, and output transcription. Session types include but are not limited to project chartering, project planning, requirements elicitation, and after-action reviews.
  • Cost Management: Facilitate monthly cost tracking and reporting while maintaining detailed project cost models throughout the project lifecycle (from SOW to project close-out). Monitor project budgets, identify variances, and work closely with project managers and the Finance team to address financial issues in a timely manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Extracting, preparing, and analyzing project performance data to enable decision-making by senior project leaders.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project artifacts comply with project requirements and meet quality standards.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a corporate environment
  • Superior detail-orientation with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.

Preferred Skills

  • Proven track record in project transformation and Project Management Office environments
  • Superior PowerPoint presentation creation skills, with proven ability to represent concise messages for the executive leadership (consultant-like abilities)
  • Superior Excel skills, with proven experience utilizing advanced functions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate, analyze andinterpret data sets
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience setting up collaboration sites with basic configuring abilities (pages, lists, libraries, permissions, etc.)
  • Proficiency working with project planning tools
  • Comfortable leading facilitated sessions with medium to large stakeholder groups
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Able to multi-task and efficiently prioritize workload across support requests
