About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Regional Manager - Ground Handing to lead multi-location ground operations across our airport network. In this role, you'll drive safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery by providing strategic leadership to General Managers and station teams, while building strong working relationships with airport authorities, internal leadership, and security partners. You'll own the financial performance, operational standards, regulatory compliance, and customer experience across your assigned region.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership and direction to General Managers and operational teams across multiple stations
- Oversee day-to-day station operations to ensure efficient use of equipment, facilities, and personnel
- Analyze operational and financial data to drive profitability and improve performance
- Develop and enforce company policies and safety standards, ensuring compliance with TSA, FAA, CBP, and local regulations
- Review and approve capital expenditures, equipment procurement, and site security plans
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and policy development
- Investigate and resolve internal and external complaints in a timely, fair manner
- Support business development initiatives and strengthen customer relationships within the region
- Oversee security compliance, audits, and corrective action plans in coordination with corporate security teams
- Foster a fair, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture
- Maintain accurate operational reporting and respond promptly to inquiries from regulatory bodies
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in commercial aviation ground handling, with hands-on knowledge of both ramp and above wing operations
- Proven experience in multi-site operations management within aviation, ground handling, or logistics
- Strong knowledge of TSA, FAA, CBP, and related regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, budgets, and capital planning
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with airport authorities, security teams, and regulatory agencies
- Willingness to travel across assigned region as needed
