Job Summary
The Senior Development Support Specialist takes a leadership role in driving compliance with GSE standard operating procedures and policies, making critical decisions to ensure adherence across Station GSE Managers, Technicians, and Vendors. They are accountable for overseeing and directing process compliance, while coaching and guiding teams to meet operational standards. As an expert in GSE CMMS (Dossier) functions and WFS policies, the DSM leads the development and training initiatives, shaping operational procedures for internal customers and vendors. Their strategic focus ensures continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead decision making efforts in coordination with the Head of Support/Development/Compliance and station management teams regarding training and development of the team.
- Own the management and expansion of the GSE training library, ensuring content relevance and effectiveness.
- Direct and oversee the management of GSE Service Bulletins and Campaigns, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
- Plan and execute field service projects, with authority to make critical project decisions.
- Act as the primary authority for the management, maintenance, and accuracy of the GSE CMMS (Dossier) system.
- Liaise with internal and external customers regarding training and support of the GSE CMMS (Dossier) system.
- Represent the organization in meetings with vendor representatives as needed for compliance related issues.
- Lead training initiatives with other managers and operations, ensuring compliance across all processes and fostering a uniform approach.
- Ability to look through employment applications and filter GSE related skills.
- Develop and issue training bulletins to management, serving as a decision maker and expert on GSE operational best practices.
- Lead special projects and ensure alignment with strategic objectives, while making decisions regarding their scope and direction.
- Analyze and present data to GSE Directors, proposing strategic improvements to processes and procedures.
- Partner with Compliance Service Manager (CSM) in leading the creation and design of training and support materials.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience using CMMS (Dossier) preferred.
- Excellent written skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a dynamic team.
- Working knowledge of MS Office software
- Committed and reliable.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work effectively with individuals and groups with a variety of identities, cultures, backgrounds, and ideologies in a global environment.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Six Sigma or Lean Principles certification preferred.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

- Handle/grasp documents or office equipment.
- Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
- Lift/carry/move objects, files and documents up to 10 pounds.
- Work in an office environment using standard office .equipment.
