Manager of operations classification includes the following:  coordinates and controls the airport service(s) guaranteeing compliance with Company standards and contractual agreements; assists in monthly billing procedures, ensures that budget and manning requirements are maintained; meets and maintains communication with customer(s); responsible for monthly reports; locates new business opportunities. Manage and direct above the wing, below the wing and other station line(s) of business. Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality,and employee relations meet or exceed standards.  Ensures they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect. Manage the Safety Management System (SMS), Quality Management System (QMS), ensure you read and sign off on any manual revisions, procedure, AHM’s,etc. Conduct necessary training and audits. Confers and cooperates with upper management in formulating administrative and operational policies and procedures. Notify and coordinate with third party vendors, ground handlers, and authorities.  Ensure that the required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance at all times. Be knowledgeable of Airline Specific System/Product instruction, Procedures, differences, loading/unloading Instruction and manage Passenger Service & Ramp Uniform policy and compliance. The scope of the job may vary with the size of the operation and its primary line of business. 

 

Job Requirements

 

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

Ability to lift 35 lbs.

 

Handle multiple projects concurrently and simultaneously.
