Job Summary

As a Commissary Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations of the commissary department.

Commissary Functions:
Prepared aircraft catering carts and/or bins with beverages, ice, liquor, snacks and other on-board amenities as needed by the airline.  May deliver carts/bins to the aircraft and remove like cart/bins from the aircraft; inventory supplies and complete necessary reports/forms; receives delivery of inventory from vendors.  May be required to operate motorized vehicles in the delivery and/or pick up of carts/bins from the aircraft.  May be required to assist with the loading/unloading and cleaning of aircraft as needed. Communicates with customers, vendors and colleagues over the telephone and /or radio for planning purposes.  Perform various other related customer service duties as assigned. Comply with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations.  Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.

Compensation Rate: $21.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Supervise commissary team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling
• Ensure proper stock of beer, soda, food, and other products are in their appropriate locations
• Maintain daily awareness of product needs; determine quantities required to adequately stock commissary
• Oversee inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated material, cycle counting
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. 
• Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Lift, ben and stack bags/boxes weighing up to 70lbs onto carts, into bins, and into storage racks/shelves/compartments.
• Lift, bend, reach, stretch, and turn to stock bins, racks, containers and storage areas. May required standing on step stools or ladders in order to reach storage racks and baggage holding cages to remove and/or place boxes, suitcases, and other items weighing up to 70lbs.
