* WFS EWR hourly workers receive an additional $4.60/h per Healthy Terminals Act of New Jersey (S989) with base rate of $18/h, which makes starting rate of $22.60/h.

Ticket Counter:
- Big Front Seats (BFS)- $5 to the selling GSA per BFS sold
- Exit Row Seats- $2 to the selling GSA per exit row seat sold
- Overweight Charges (OWB4- OWB7)- $3 to the selling GSA per OWB SSR sold
Gates:
- Big Front Seats (BFS)- $5 to the selling GSA per exit row seat sold
- Exit Row Seats- $2 to the selling GSA per exit row seat sold
- BAGG- $5 to the selling GSA per BAGG sold
How you get paid!
If you meet eligibility requirements, your Service Provider will pay you the amount earned on a monthly basis.
- Sales of eligible ancillary charges will only be paid out for flight segments that are flown.
- There is currently no limit to the amount you can earn per month
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Performs passenger service functions including: making reservations, preparation and issuance of tickets and itineraries, checking baggage
- Performs duties in the departure lounges or at boarding gates when enplaning and deplaning passengers
- Checks passengers for correct travel documents and ticket validity
- Performs lost and found activities, tracing procedures and search and returns of found articles
- Prepares and maintains required records and reports of lost and found activities
- Prepare receiving of airfreight shipments, establishes acceptability, determines routing, classifies, transfer manifest drayage documents and various domestic and international forms.
- Maintains inventory and records of shipments accepted, warehoused, dispatched and delivered to customers
Required Skills:
- Ability to work weekends (i.e. Friday, Saturday, Sunday), holidays, and days off.
- Ability to speak and be understood in giving directions/information to passengers.
- Tolerate and answer repetitious questions from customers in a friendly, outgoing manner.
- Must have ability to work under pressure
- Ability to count money.
- Ability to judge distance.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds (31.9kg).
- Twist, turn, stoop, bend, reach, and grip while checking baggage throughout an eight-hour shift.
- Ability to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift.
Required Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Computer experiences necessary.
- Demonstrates qualities of leadership, initiative, and judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. May be necessary to speak other language(s), in addition to English.
