The WFS Express Ramp Agent plays an important part of our world-leading Express operation starting at $19.00/Hr. You will be working around different aircraft types. With a focus on safety and attention to detail, you will be responsible for completing various aspects of ramp service functions, including transferring, loading, and unloading freight and cargo containers from aircrafts, sorting mail, loose load with and without mechanical assistance.

To provide all necessary and required under-wing and ground support services as contracted by the customer to include, but not be limited to, loading and unloading cargo (mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material), and marshalling. Must have physical dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending at the waist and knees, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting and sustaining those positions for extended amounts of time. Must have sufficient vision and hearing to be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position. Comply with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers.

Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Must have a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver’s license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role.

Computer familiarity necessary. Demonstrates qualities of initiative. Must be able to lift 50 to 70 pounds (31.9kg).

Must have the ability to work weekends (ie. Friday, Saturday, Sunday), holidays, and days off.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all local airport requirements

You must be able to maintain airport authority access and be able to work scheduled shifts. Must be able to follow directions and work safely

Job Responsibilities:

  • Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure.
  • Provide special handling of luggage/cargo as required/directed.
  • Deliver air cargo to the appropriate recipient.
  • Drive and/or operate ground support equipment to include tow tractors, belt loaders, tugs, water/lavatory service cart, aircraft ground power units, aircraft air start units, air stairs, aircraft de-icing truck, baggage carts, cargo dollies.
  • Inspect ramp areas adjacent to gate and aircraft for debris and remove/dispose of when found.
  • Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Lift heavy objects that could reach 70 pounds
  • Previous ramp experience a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work in any inclement weather
  • Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Excellent Safety awareness


Must possess a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license

Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all local airport requirements

Requires you to obtain and maintain USPS Clearance and meet all requirements to handle US Mail
