• Supervisor/Lead coordinates the activities of personnel engaged in meeting or exceeding the delivery of service mandated by the company, customer and contractual requirements.
• Highly motivated individual that can supervise and motivate operational personnel. Provides technical guidance as required.
• Ensures work is progressing according to contract requirements and in compliance with established standards related to safety, security and other personnel related matters.
• Trains and mentor employees in performance of their assigned duties. Assist General Manager, evaluate performance standards of assigned employees. Coordinates activities of staff and customers relative to specification changes, modifications, and quality assurance.
• Monitors adherence to good housekeeping, safety regulations and takes appropriate corrective actions to correct unsafe work practices or hazardous situations.
• Performs other duties, which may be deemed necessary by management. The scope of the job may vary with the size of the operation and its primary line of business.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to manage and motivate personnel. Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays ie. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and days off. Ability to read, write and fluently speak and understand the English language.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Ability to twist, turn, stoop, bend, reach and grip during tour of duty.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk during tour of duty.
• Ability to drive cargo handling equipment/jet bridges and/or operate conveyor systems (if applicable).
• Hear and respond to customers.
• Ability to manage and motivate personnel.
• Must be able to communicate – verbal and written – in English and be understood by others.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manual.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to compute rate, percent and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Work in a high noise level environment and tolerate dust, and jet fumes. (Dust masks and earplugs are provided).
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility in prioritizing task based on rapidly changing company needs.
• Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.
• Ability to handle stress.
• Reports to work on a regular and timely basis – 24/7
