Join our team at Worldwide Flight Services as a Air Cargo Ramp Agent - working at O'Hare International Airport!!!

You must be available to work a flexible schedule - your work times will change daily based on flight arrival and departure times

The Cargo Ramp Agent -performs manual duties related to the handling, receiving, loading, and delivery of all cargo/mail in our warehouses.

 Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Performs various aspects of ramp service functions including transferring and loading of cargo,
  • Loads and unloads cargo/mail on and off aircraft.
  • Safely operates motorized vehicle (i.e. Tug) to pick-up and deliver cargo/mail between the terminal, warehouse and aircraft.
  • Sorts and loads mail and baggage in the outbound baggage room. 
  • Performs ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power and ground start units,
  • Performs aircraft pushout/two and related guide man functions.
  • Cleans the exterior of aircraft and performs routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities. 
  • May be assigned routine automotive repair and servicing and cleaning of powered and unpowered equipment. 
  • Remains cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.

Required Skills

Required Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand the English language
  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Valid drivers’ license. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance
