Job Summary
The classification of Supervisor Airport Services includes the following: supervises, coordinates, and controls airport service functions; monitors the quality and quantity of work performance; ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations and Company safety standards; and trains subordinates. Areas of responsibility may include Passenger Service functions, Operations, Weight and Balance, Line Cargo, Cabin Services, Ground Equipment, Facilities Maintenance, and /or Fueling. Other responsibilities are as assigned by the station or general manager.
SALARY: $21.50/Hr
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedure guides.
- Prepare routine reports and professional correspondence accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively in group settings with customers or employees, ensuring clarity and engagement.
- Perform mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Calculate rates, percentages, and interpret data represented in bar graphs.
- Identify and define problems, collect relevant data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions.
- Interpret and apply technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagram form, managing both abstract and concrete variables effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Work in a high noise level environment.
